Background
Specialty Risk Academy was founded by an insurance professional with more than 11 years of experience in the insurance industry, including over 8 years as an independent agency owner. Throughout that time, it became clear that many insurance professionals struggle to find practical training that truly prepares them to understand and insure specialized commercial risks.
While traditional insurance education often focuses on theory, the real challenge for agents comes when evaluating complex businesses and structuring proper coverage for industries with unique exposures. Specialty Risk Academy was created to bridge that gap by providing focused training on commercial insurance niches that agents encounter in the real world.
